Subathon & OBS: common questions

No. Alerts, spinwheel, goals and leaderboard can work while the countdown is stopped. Donation rules may still add stored time; stop, hide and disable are different controls.

No. The demo uses fictional events in your browser. Download the Windows app to connect real sources. No payment or Google sign-in is involved in the demo.

No. Extract the portable ZIP and open Subathon.exe. Optional AI Vocal installs its own runtime in the app folder.

The portable app targets Windows 10/11. This website and its demo work on mobile; that does not turn a phone into the Windows runtime. No native Mac/mobile build is offered here.

Installed AI speech and local settings work on your PC. Receiving remote donations, Google sign-in, installation downloads and update checks need internet.

Yes: YouTube, GankNow, ZyPage, Streamlabs Tipping and Wescan. Select one connection method for YouTube. The other four platform URL fields are independent.

No. Aarothon 4.2.2 supports the listed YouTube events through Streamlabs, plus Streamlabs native Tipping in a separate profile. Twitch, Cloudbot redemptions and merch are not included.

Use your provider’s private widget/alert URL, not a channel, dashboard or public donation page. Streamlabs needs Alert Box v3; StreamElements needs its widgets host URL. Copy the complete URL.

Check the connected channel, active livestream and enabled live chat. Enter the specific YouTube livestream URL and save. Authentication and a running broadcast are separate requirements.

Contact support to check current Google access availability, or use another supported YouTube provider. Reinstalling the app does not grant account access.

No. Supported paid events are handled separately from ordinary chat, free subscriptions and membership milestones. Gift recipients do not count as another gift purchase.

YouTube events: select Streamlabs in the YouTube card, then use Notification → YouTube. Native tips: fill the separate Streamlabs card, then use Notification → Streamlabs. The two full Alert Box URLs may be the same or different.

Keep the matching original Alert Box loaded. Aarothon listens without taking over its alert-production role. A live socket alone does not prove new alerts are being produced. Prevent duplicate sound in OBS without shutting that widget down.

The streamer’s private OBS Banner URL, starting https://wescan.vn/donation/banner/. Paste it in the last Sources card, save, then use Notification → Wescan and its dedicated OBS output. Aarothon does not ask for a Wescan password.

Check Membership for a tier waiting for its VND price. Recent Events OBS only shows accepted events. Pricing and approving the pending tier lets those events be accepted once.

The design preview uses fictional rows to fill your chosen N. OBS shows only actual accepted events, so fewer than N events means fewer rows.

The wheel has a queue. With sequential notifications and “Quay cùng notification” enabled, a linked donation/wheel combination waits for its later-finishing part before the next combination.

Check the Notification OBS master button first, then the source profile and exact event’s popup/speech controls. A green profile indicator and a working preview do not prove the master is on. Then check the matching OBS output and queue.

Model loading and preparation take work; later runs can reuse sessions and caches. A new sentence also takes real synthesis time. Keep the app open before streaming and test a fresh sentence. Timings vary by PC and workload.

In 4.2.2, preview audio plays in Studio; the matching OBS output only mirrors its picture to avoid duplicate sound. Real notifications play on OBS. Check Studio audio for preview, and OBS mixer/track routing for real events.

Up to 10 seconds, WAV or MP3. Longer files are rejected, not automatically trimmed. Choose the file in Image & sound → Chime, save and preview it.

No. “Gộp ô liền nhau” removes repeated labels and boundaries for adjacent slots of the same item. It preserves weights and is saved per wheel.

No. Google sign-in is for YouTube API (Direct). Engine installation is separate and needs a working download connection and free disk space.

Yes. Use media/stickers, media/sounds and fonts in your portable folder. Refresh Image/Sound after adding media. A voice requires a compatible voice profile; an arbitrary audio file is not a trained voice.

No. Gank handles donation alerts. The dedicated Donate Music integration is for ZyPage.

No. History import does not restore or add timer time, and does not replay notifications. Set the timer yourself after import. Derived totals such as goals and leaderboard are recalculated.

Import requires a fresh database with no event history. Reset History hides/archives previous history; it does not create a fresh database. Import into a newly extracted app folder instead, and keep the old folder as a backup.

No. It clears visible event history and derived totals while preserving timer time. Resetting the countdown is a separate timer action.

Keep Subathon.exe running and open the exact address printed in its window. It may use another port when the default is busy. Copy OBS output URLs from that running instance.

No. A locally saved report remains in data/support-reports for retry. “Sent” means the remote endpoint accepted it. Keep the report ID when following up; an email notification is a separate step outside the app.

Yes. The reporting path does not reject an event merely because a newer app version exists. Delivery still depends on connectivity and the reporting service. Check the result and keep its ID.

No. Keep the exact threat name, filename and version and contact support. An integrity-checked update is not a guarantee that antivirus will never flag it.

Close the app and back up the full folder first. Local settings and media travel with it. Google login is protected for its Windows user/machine, so sign in again on the new PC if required.

Yes, after the displayed countdown. Check the receipt and keep its report ID; saved locally is not the same as sent. A manual report can include recent donation names/messages/amounts and settings for diagnosis; private URLs and credentials are redacted.
