Set up a subathon in OBS

Download Aarothon for Windows, connect a donation source and add your first OBS overlay.

Before you start#

Use a Windows 10/11 PC and OBS Studio. Download the portable ZIP from this website and extract all of it into a folder you can write to. The app still uses the filename Subathon.exe. Keep the extracted folder on a local disk.

1. Open the studio#

Double-click Subathon.exe. Its console shows the local address and data folder; the studio opens in your browser. Keep the app running while streaming. If the browser does not open, copy the address printed in the console. Use that address, including its port.

2. Connect a source#

Open Nguồn (Sources). Choose one YouTube connection: YouTube API, StreamElements, OneComme or Streamlabs. GankNow, ZyPage, Streamlabs Tipping and Wescan connect independently below it. Paste the appropriate private alert URL and select Lưu và kết nối lại. See source setup.

3. Build your output#

Open Notification, enable the module and your source profile, then select an event type. Choose its image, text, sound and voice. AI Vocal is optional; install it in the Voice tab if needed. Set YouTube membership prices in Membership before your stream.

4. Add it to OBS and check#

Open OBS, copy the matching notification URL and add an OBS Browser Source with the suggested dimensions. Chạy preview shows the popup on that output; preview sound plays in Studio, not twice in OBS. Real-event sound uses the OBS output. Check audio setup and source status separately: a preview does not prove real donations are arriving.
