YouTube membership and gift pricing
Set membership tier values, review unknown prices and avoid counting gift recipients as new purchases.
Set tier prices#
Open Membership. Add the tier name and VND value for one membership. Use the actual level name supplied by the provider. A self-purchase has quantity one; a gift purchase uses the sender’s gift quantity. The total value is quantity × tier price.
Review new tiers#
A new tier without a configured price becomes a draft. The Membership navigation indicator draws attention to it. Set its price to process matching pending events once. Eligible spinwheels can then trigger. While pending, the event is not shown in Recent Events OBS or included in accepted money totals.
Gift receivers are different#
A gift receiver can have a notification, but is not a second purchase. Milestone chat is also not a new paid membership. This prevents charging the timer for the gift sender and again for every recipient.
Manual entry#
If you intentionally need a manual gift, select a configured tier and enter its quantity in Membership. Check the calculated value before submitting. Manual entry is a real local mutation: unlike a notification preview, it can affect totals and timer rules.
