Subathon timer: add time from donations
Set donation-to-time rules, optional time reductions and the countdown overlay style for OBS.
Set the rule#
In Timer, set VND per unit and seconds per unit, then save. For example, 10,000 VND per unit and 60 seconds per unit adds five minutes for a 50,000 VND donation. Accepted foreign currencies are valued in VND before rules apply.
Start, stop and show days#
Set your initial time and use Live controls to start or stop the countdown. Stopping does not stop source ingestion. Enable day display to show 49 hours as two days plus 01:00:00; leave it off for 49:00:00. Title and timer fonts can be adjusted separately.
Optional reduction rule#
Enable the reduction rule only when you want matching donation messages to subtract time. Set the message pattern and case sensitivity. You can copy the timer rule’s rate. Disabling the reduction rule preserves its values and prevents it from applying. Reductions do not drive the timer below zero.
After restarting#
A graceful app shutdown freezes the countdown, so time spent with the app closed is not consumed. Keep a backup of the full portable folder before moving machines. Importing event history does not automatically restore or add time; set the timer yourself afterwards.
Keep your report ID and tell us which step behaves differently.
